ABOUT THE TEAM
The Studio
50% nerds, 50% hip-hop heads, 100% dumbasses: that’s Overkillas Studio. We come from Hip Hop culture all the way to indie game dev and our goal is to portray this in our games in the realest way possible.
You can’t fake HipHop, and as a matter of fact…:
Michele “Ypsilon” Furia, the director, is a street artist by profession.
The same goes for Davide “Funkamore” Abate, the animator.
Paolo “Piez” Minopoli, 3d Artist, was also once a graffiti writer.
Filippo “Brahma Rishi Sensei” Puglia, sound engineer, is a DJ by profession.
Raffaele “Kukoc” Castiello, marketing manager, was once a rapper.
We come from all over Italy, and Overkillas did to us what HipHop always does: it brought us together and is making us rock. Stylishly.
The Game Hub
Bologna Game Farm is a game development hub from the Municipality of Bologna. It supports indie videogame projects from Italy providing funding, mentorships and partecipation to game related events. This chance really changed a lot our development adventure.
